Our Mission...
To facilitate the development and re-use of existing commercial property in and around Herkimer, NY. To grow existing businesses and build awareness of what the village has to offer visitors, residents, and potential residents. To act as the village 'Chamber of Commerce' of sorts.
Herkimer, NY is situated as the gateway to the Adirondack Mountains, featuring classic architecture from several eras throughout the village. The historic downtown Main Street harkens back to a time where small shops and eating establishments lined the street. Several opportunities exist for interested entrepenuers and business developers. It is well-suited for quaint restaurants and bistros, antique shops, specialty retailers, and more! There is metered parking on Main Street, with several lots and side streets with additional parking.
Other areas are better suited for more traditional modern businesses such as major retail locations, light industry, warehousing and transportation, healthcare offices & facilities, and more.
Our goal is to revive Herkimer as the true 'Gem of the Mohawk Valley!'
